The Wairere Boulders are an impressive feat of Mother Nature and well worth a visit. See thousands of huge boulders stacked up on top of each other, some around 30 m high. This world-unique boulder formation looks like a giant stream of rocks and boulders flowing down towards the sea.
The valley features an easy walk with viewing platforms, river bridges and tracks that lead over, around and under the boulders in a spectacular way.
